tow haul button

When I push the tow haul button no lights pop on on the dash. The button has on od slash symbol and a trlr symbol. Is used to have a 2000 5.3 and it would light up trlr or no trlr. I havent hooked a trlr up yet but I would think it shoul light up at least to take od out.

The wire is most likely broken. Common Issue.

Yup and it can be a real mother to fix it. Those wire are thin.

I reached up in the rubber boot and pulled the wire threw under the boot and just touch the wires together to activate my tow haul but thats just me being lazy and just not rewiring it. Its very common and not bad to fix.
