I'm looking to add a subwoofer to my single cab. I'm not looking to break the bank to accomplish this task but would like something that sounds decent. Any one have any suggestions?

Kicker bumps, so does alpine, and JL Audio, and pioneer. I dont know too much about sound systems, but I do know these are all very good brands

I just traded out my JL-Audio 8" sub for a Pioneer 10" flat sub (TS-SWX251). OMG it can kick like a mule. I love it and it's not that expensive.

I think kicker is the best bang for your buck, and you can get them at walmart so they'll match any prices. If I were to build a setup for a good price I would use kicker 10's or 12's.

My truck came with 2 Orion Cobalt 10" in a box behind the back seat. They hit hard. Had a kicker 250.1 watt powering them and it didn't meet the rating of the subs. (Amp was working too hard and always hot) so I changed it out with a 600 watt ken wood amp so it is in the rms range of the subs. The subs are 5" deep and BARELY fit behind the seats. Not sure how much space you have behind your seat. I love my setup though.
