So I changed the oil in my wife's Denali 2500 last night and I noticed that there was no steering stabilizer shock but all the brackets were there. It looks like the same setup as my 2010 minus the shock. I called the dealer and they're not sure. I was just wondering if GM changed the design or did they forget to put one on

Heard its pretty bad over 35 inch tires without 1

well you can drive mine. hasnt had one for 4 years now

only time i can see it being an issue is large tires (35s and up), cranked bars giving bad angles on steering, worn parts, and bad balance on the tires. that combo would cause some interesting death wobbles im sure

I installed a GM stabilizer on my LML and it takes more effort to turn the steering wheel. I am used to it now.

Try having or driving a Dodge with out one! My friends 99 4x4 Ram stabilizer went and he had a death wobble scared the shit right out of him . He drove home on the shoulder at lucky if he hit 40 MPH from LIC NY! :D

At the time he had NO clue what was wroung except the shock was spent . Oily and no resistance. Replaced it and all was well! :D
