i would want to know why your rail is that high and balance rates mean nothing unless you give us the main injection rate at idle as well

Raised Idle Rail Pressure & Balance Rates

Yes, idle around 6k. Kill the injectors unless you get a new fpr in there. Rated are gonna be off the wall at elevated pressures

It's raised that high to clean up the haze at idle, however Iv been having a surging issue while cruising Iv been trying to figure out.

you cant check balance rates with a raised rail pressure like that. it will throw balance rates way off. put a stock tune in and see what they are. if you give us the main injection rate, it will help with where the injectors are even with the higher pressure.

if its surging, log it and post the log.

Doubt it will run very well with 200 overs on a stock tune. Even with that big of sticks, 12K rail seems pretty high to me. With injectors that big, and a tune as modified as needed for them, balance rates and such are probably never going to be "good".

I agree, put a tune in it with stock rail pressure to check balance rates. It'll run fine enough to get a reading.

Have you also tried playing with timing at idle to help the haze?

I noticed this was bouncing between 10mm3 - 20mm3 the other day when the truck was surging. Idk if this would cause my issue Ill post a pic of the current injection rate with balance rates in just a minute.

does it only happen with on cruise control or when you just hold the throttle steady? this is a large injector issue from the sounds of it. have you discussed this mark? did this start after the 200% installed or some time after?

It started doing it a couple weeks after install it seems to be hit or miss when it does it. Iv talked with Mark he's made a couple adjustments. He found voltage is jumping and switching tunes on the DSP5 switch, but it only switches the tuning on position 3 and 4 I'm starting to wonder if its a possible ground issue but all my grounds are tight and clean.

How do the logs look? Does it look good in the pics?

snap shots are hard to tell from. can you record this same stuff in EFI Live Scan Tool? you will then save it, resave it as a zip file, then you can upload it here.

was that on a stock tune?

My bad for the late reply had a busy weekend, this was on the 2nd from last tune with the dsp5 switch I don't have a stock tuning file for the truck.

Also to note When I first accelerated this morning it puffed out a big cloud of white smoke and immediately cleared up.

Also attached is a log of the truck cruising.
