$25,000 *whistling* Whew.....

17 years ago, Keith Bachler was the first to 1000hp with Nasty Girl. I remember how difficult it was, how many times that engine broke, how many new parts and processes were developed on that truck. He spent so much money.....probably twice what Tony charges.

How times have changed.

Worth an LS 1000 hp isn’t very hard anymore. It’s still not cheap though. Lol Most difficult part now is a transmission that can handle them.

Is that a Dodge Magnum wagon?
Yes in a GM full time 4*4 chassis.. body is a magnum wagon the front clip doesn't look like a magnum.

True, 4L80 is pretty easy to get to 1000hp, seams they're still working on the 6/8/10sp though

Don’t believe everything you hear. They still have to go thru the 4l80 quite often at 1000 hp. I’m on my 4th 6l80 build, the new builder has some super secret stuff him and circle d figured out. Hopefully the new trans can hold the 408.

One is 4-5k into a 4l80 to handle 1000hp (gas not diesel HP )after that it gets $$$ fast with aftermarket cases

I've stayed away away from 6/8spd

I was tempted to swap but once I heard they are going thru them also I stayed the course. Making real progress now, maybe my truck will become the poster child for the 6l80. Lol

I'm renting a new Camaro and driving to Indiana for a couple of days next week to perform the marriage of an old LS3 to a much younger 10L80..

Might call it an arranged marriage...

We've been discussing that dimpled design on and off for the last year or so. Until we see hard numbers it's no different then throwing ball bearings down the intake and charging more for it and claiming it helps
I did like his analogy of that in the video.

As someone who tried it before, with nuts not bearings, and not by choice, I can say I'm all about letting AI tell me what should work best. And CNC me those pistons and heads while you're at it. I'll let ya know how ya did.

That seems like a great idea. I’ve heard they can hold power stock. Wonder what the limits of them are?
