Loss of power ,engine over heat , oil in coolant

2002 lb7 loss engine power coming down a mountain engine started to over heat pulled over checked oil no oil on stick had it towed was told oil in the coolant and needed oil cooler any of you guys had this issue from head gasket to engine crack any info guys would help am i looking at a engine rebuild
