Don't laugh folks, but I have coolant pooling under my truck immediately after I park...but then stops. it's not alot and at first i thought it was just from the AC. It's coming from right above the skid plate...could it be a hose? I still don't have much knowledge on diesels...learning as I go...

which skid plate??? I would crawl under it and look for traces of coolant to see where it's coming from. Narrowing it down to a particular region helps out a lot.

The forward most skid plate right under the engine. Is the oil cooler right there under the engine? There's some type of pan.. right in front of the oil pan.

Double check the hose connections on your egr hoses. I had leaking issues for a bit, then deleted my egr and the leaking stopped..

The coolant is coming down the side of it...maybe a seal?

If its coming down from the top of the oil cooler and there's no coolant closer to the front of the truck then its going to be the o ring that seals the coolant pipe coming from the water pump to the oil cooler. I know because mine is leaking in the same place right now  lol. I just haven't done it because I'm going to pull the transmission soon and do some other mods and ill just do it all at the same time.

Look at the radiator lower hose where it attaches to the engine-if it shows stains, or is wet, it is the water pump that is leaking.

Look up from the left front of the skid plate toward the rear of lower radiator at the weep hole from the water pump housing- any coolant drips or coolant residue?
