Ifs front gear removal help

Having a hard time finding how to get the drivers side axle out. Just remove with a slide hammer or is the cap at the end of the housing threaded and have to be turned out to get the axle out?

Slide hammer... The little circlip on the inside gets mashed in there. I have cut the flanges off in the past to get em apart then drift the remaining piece out after... They suck. Lol

What about the rear yoke? Puller? Any tips?

I made yoke pullers out of 1/2" plate and a 3/4x16 grade 8 bolt.

I may have to beef up the puller I have to work. Haha

if you use a balancer puller on the front yoke, it should work fine. it would be too small for a rear yoke
