I have a Fass 150G adjustable lift pump on my 05 LLY, it also has a nicktane adapter with a cat spin on fuel filter. I have a sensor for my fuel pressure gauge in the filter head along with a bleeder valve. The fuel system is stock besides those things.
My lift pump is leaking out of the weep hole, its under warranty, but i have to send the pump back, so i was thinking of just grabbing a fitting and hooking the in and out lines together so i can remove the pump to send it off.
However i am not sure if i will have any priming problems after i hook it up, as i have no way to prime the system with no lift pump or hand primer. I would rather not down the truck if i don't have to.
so will it pull that air pocket through from disconnecting the line and be ok? or should i just down it?
