I'm looking at a used '03 4x4 truck. The guy that owns it says it needs front end work. He says they parked it when the cv joint went out. Said might need front bearings also. It was a ranch truck. What can I expect to have to put into the front end? Assuming I have to put in 2 half shafts, bearings and maybe a ball joint or two, steering idler what are we talking for cost? I would do all the work. I'm thinking $500-1000. That sound about right? This truck would be used as a dedicated puller.

I would expect $1000.00 dollars if the work is done by you. Did you take into consideration the $$$ for upgraded parts?
