Edge Mystyle issues

I just thought this may help some others down the road

I was trying to set up my Edge to use EAS for egt and boost gauges and ran into a few issues so thought I would post the solution.

I Had Mystyle installed on computer from years ago so I opened it up and clicked "check for updates to software" the compute found updates to software and performed them, this took about 10 min.

I then plugged in the Insight and nothing happened on the Mystyle screen but the computer automatically Installed the driver for the device so I knew the computer was finding the device but the software was not. I watched this video on you tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69pBQZH8xQE

I thought maybe there is a glitch in software so I deleted it and re-downloaded from fusionupdate.com (where the video says too), the software was still not working. So I tried updating the device via the Fusion software which was previously on the computer. It performed 5 updates, when I tried mystyle again it was still not working

At this point I called edge and they said to download from there website. At this point I completely un-installed Fusion and MyStyle and re-installed from https://www.edgeproducts.com/product_updates.php

I then updated the Insight again via Fusion and then opened the mystyle and it worked, I was able to set up the gauges and add photos. Mint
