I've been looking at prices for aluminum pipe. Looks like 8" schedule 40 is pretty close to what is needed (it's about 1/16 of an inch too thin, but I'm not sure how closely it would be teched). I've found a place that sells it for about $66/foot.

yeah, some prices I've seen are up there. A buddy of mine is a certified welder and will be fabbing me a set using my truck. Hopefully after first of the year we'll have a few sets made and ready to deliver. Price will be reasonable as well.
We'll sell individually and a complete set for less than some advertise. They'll be black and within specifications for tech.:)

They're priced at that level because I buy them from somebody else (Not Tony..not that I have anything against him) and then mark them up 50.00 and resell. They're bolt on except for drilling two holes and they're built very well and powdercoated black.

You may be able to build them yourself, but we have them on the shelf ready to bolt on, and that's worth the cost for quite a few people.

Thanks,

Brayden

Not saying they're not woth the $$ Brayden, just for the little guy like me that pulls 6x a year at most it may not be a viable option. They are extremely nice parts though.

I completely understand your position, and my quote was not directed at you:hug: I Just meant for me and alot of other people that have a mig, grinder, and the other necessary equipment, the price is a little steep IMHO.. But on the other hand alot of people do not have the equipment, know how, or most importantly the time to build thier own. So I can see them being worth that to certain people.

I didn't take offense. My skin's pretty thick :)

If my truck and garage were as clean as your avatar I would throw away my keys and not drive the truck.. Just sit in a chair and drink beer looking at it.. Good pic!
