Has anyone heard of the fines, or has anyone every been stopped to see if you have your DPF. I have a 08 dually that I use to travel all over the US. I don't run DOT numbers or have to stop at scales. Had the truck since new and haven been stopped yet, but not sure if its safe to delete, would suck to get fined.
Thanks.

I doubt you have anything to worry about! Only chance of getting in trouble would be if they pulled you over for something else such as speeding or what not and the cop decided to be a PITA and check. Kinda like with running offroad diesel...

I would just be careful of advertising such things on forums/online etc.

For what it's worth I have about five deleted trucks running around here in Colorado. So far zero issues (knock on wood). However all the trucks are owned by old guys who don't hot rod. Just wanted better mileage.

Local I'm not that worried, it's driven over the road that worries me. I've never been stopped and had then look to make sure, that's been 6 years and over 180k miles. With them busting H&S, edge has me thinking its a bad idea.
