Snap On makes a pretty nice cordless impact. It's spendy but runs really good & its a little more compact than others.

I have a snap on 3/8 drive it works well for what I do with it however I only use mine a few times a month. I don't like to get it dirty because it is so pretty :D

I bought a 24v gun made by Goodyear from Pepboys a while back, only like $75. It's only 200ftlb, so it probably wont take the lug nuts off out trucks. It has worked great swapping from dirt to paddle tires on the desert toys and changing flats on the trailer and other cars.

I've been using the V28 Milwaulkee? for about 3 years now IIRC, and it's had a hard life, but both batteries, the charger, and the tool are still working well. It will swap all four tires on a Dmax almost twice before needing a 1 hr charge again. In other words, you arrive at the track, remove all four street tires, put on the race tires, remove the race tires after the race, then put three street tires back on, then the battery gets weak. But it's a three year old battery. With both batteries charged, it will easily do three trucks. One battery will do several passenger cars before recharging.

I have the snap on 1/2 and it is great. 550 ftlbs and last quite awhile. I will be soon getting the new matco 1/2 that is coming out because it is litium ion and said to be 720 ft lbs

Aholes! I've changed tires so many times on that truck that the lugs are getting worn out, but anytime someone else does it, it's all over the interwebbythingy.

Seriously, thanks for helping. It's good to have friends and family at the track.
