LB7: Built the muffin man a new hitch last night

Huffy67 that is..

He pulls local work stock and bent his factory receiver last year. He called me up and wanted a new hitch so we built him one based on the one in my Lb7.. ended up exactly at 26" which is local assn rule.

Everything is 1/4"

Looks nice-
I would have tried to make the rear most bar angle forward instead of being right at the back of the frame creating a big pivot point with leverage. But still nice fab work. Anything is an improvement over the factory one

nice corbin! welding to the spare tire crossmember is strong enough for support?

So far we've not torn one off I've done that way. Biggest load is on the actual frame horns itself.

Guess we will find out this weekend on this one :rofl:

On another note.. with the factory plastic on the bumper and the license plate back on the hitch is unseen..

The factory hitch will still bolt up for normal trailer tow duty. And be pulled off when he pulls..

Trying to talk him into a roll pan.
