Ok so i just changed my pads, rotors, and bled the brakes and my pedal stiffened up a little but not a ton. Not to mention theres a ton of gunk in the brake fluid reservoir so i might take it off and clean it.

But my main issue is my pedal has some slop in it when your first press it and its VERY slow to return....

Im informed it may be caused by the power steering?
Anyone have any insight on this? and or how to flush/ bleed power steering pump?

Take the rubber line off the hydroboost and connect a rubber hose to a bucket. Turn the steering wheel both ways while pressing on the brake pedal with the engine running. Keep filling the power steering until clean fluid comes out. There's a write with pictures here somewhere if you look for it.

If you have fluid leaking out the weep hole of the booster it could be time to replace seals in it.

Might as well replace it with a 2011 hydroboost, they're cheap and better.
