TX of course
You can do it with most multi meters its just not as easy at a amp clamp. You can find how tos on youtube. You just need a meter that will test amps, but I think amp clamps have gotten a lot cheaper then when I got my meter 10 years ago. So get one of those if you can.

My wifes tahoe draws 170ma normal max is 40ma. It will kill her battery in 5 days of sitting, but our diesels would last longer with dual batteries. Like clock work it will trash a battery every 2 years or less when she wasn't driving as much. No one has been able to fix it yet. I got to find a good electrical specialist or sell the SOB.

got the truck all back together. I thought the starter was going to fling the engine out of the truck! hasn't turned over this fast in quite some time. I hope it stays this way.

When i did the big 3 to the tahoe i used 0 guage all over the higher the strand count the vetter is my understanding i used welding wire its weather proof a ton cheaper than audio cable by far .i know it was way over kill but looked pretty awsome and did fix my problem.i basically grounded the battery directly to the frame and everything else straight to the frame added a piece of allthred threw the firewall under the dash where i could get to it and grounded all my accessories to it and that thing had a rediculouse sytem and tons of extras inside so might have just been one of the accessories but it fixed it.at the risk of sounding like a tard this what i did.
