What are the differences between a2500 and a 3500? I went and looked at a lml and the price is similar between the two so I was wondering the differences.

the rated weight capacities may be different, keep in mind that insurance and registration may be more expensive for the 1 ton

Extra spring in the rear. IIRC axles are the same untill you get to the dually.
Front end is the same.
Gross axle rating for a 1 ton srw is 4800 and 6400 IIRC on the classics.
