2003 LB7 shutting down, low fuel rail pressure

I have a 2003 6.6 diesel I have been having a issue with it just shutting off at red lights and not cranking back up for about 1 hour. I put a lift pump on it and installed a new cat filter with there adapter. it run great for about two weeks then today it started doing the same thing it would crank and start surging then idle out but when I put it in gear it shuts off and will just spin over.

the pump is working and its getting plenty of fuel to the filter

I have a 2003 duramax 6.6 I have changed filter with the new cat filter and the adaptor and installed a lift pump. run a scan on it today after it would not crank back up. Scanner says its a low fuel rail pressure issue , any ideas where to start I was thinking the regulator.

Merged your two threads, since they about the same problem.

I would be checking injector rates and return amounts, as gmduramax said.

ok thanks I will check that, the scanner was also saying the fuel regulator would the injectors cause that reading
