All last year on my lb7 W/S puller I used a 12mm cp3 with II 70% over nozzles on a set of injectors with probably 50000 miles on them. I would drop rail pressure at 2600 pulse down to18k psi when commanding 26k. I know guys run bigger injectors with this pump just don't see how when it won't keep up with my 70. Question is what kind of pulse on what size injector are you guys running with Exergys 12mm pump?

That would be the reason I am asking what size injector will the pump support because I suspect the injectors could be the issue. I am replacing them before next season but was unsure what size to order.

I believe Mark has pushed 400% over injectors with a 12mm. But I know for certain he has ran a 12mm with 250% overs without issue.

12 mm will support 1200hp. To maintain rail you may need some PID adjustments but it should work just fine.

No offense but I'm with this guy and had the same thought! If you don't have an outside source issue (high returns or restricted supply pressure etc.)then you will have no problem keeping up with them. A single 12mm cp3 is capable up to 1400hp if you actually have the air to do it. My motor with Exergy 250%inj and a single 12mmcp3 on 1850ish pulse made 1300++hp on a big single at the crank.

Thanks for the info guys. I would think if it was a high return rate I would also have a hard start. Either way I will be getting new injectors probably around 80%. Hoping I can run a 2600us with this pump and not drop any rail pressure.

Go bigger. That pump won't have any issues with 150s or 200s. The tuning is so good that there aren't many drawbacks to stepping up the size.

Well I ordered a set of 100% exergys I hope they work out. I am going to redo the filter setup and the cp3 supply lines to rule any of that out.

An update this season. I am running 100% over exergy injectors with the same 12mm pump and will still drop actual rail down to 22000 psi when commanding 26000 during a pull. Pulse is at 2300us. 1/2 inch feed all the way to the pump. Holding 2-10 psi during a run.

Could be a bad pump. Only way to know is to have it tested.

So I am assuming you think the pump should hold 26000. It seems to do better when rpm is 3300 and under but once past 3700rpm sustained when I'm pulling is when it drops.
