    Got Some Cam goodies today for my 5.3

    you could work those stock heads and pick up some nice gains though for not a lot of scratch. I would at least get those small valves out of there. I run 5.3 stage 2.5's on my LS1 with 2.04 and 1.575 valves.

    power steering fluid....

    I have an 06 LBZ. I'd like to top off the power steering fluid ( just a tad low) and the only fluid types I can find on here are GM part numbers. What about fluid from a parts store? I have some that says "can be mixed with any non-synthetic power steering fluid". Can I use that or should I run...

    most likely not MAF related or it would throw 174 and 175 for both banks....I wouldn't completely rule it out but usually both banks will be effected with a MAF issue.     Going to race a 98 vette.

    I don't know much about diesel performance but I do know vette's and LSx cars in general. That vette with a decent driver should be low low 13's-high 12's at a track with traction. The headers and intake will help him a little but without a tune he's leaving 20+HP on the table. On the street...

    I'm still trying to figure all that out. I know with diesels you can stand to have a few more miles on them when you buy them but I'm not sure what cutoff I should be looking at. Obviously the lower the better but my budget just won't allow for a low mileage truck. I'd like to stay in the 50-60k...
