    Looking to see if anyone has installed the Fass Drop In filter set up on a 17 and up truck? The stock set up does leave a bit to be desired, so I’m looking into the Fass. The VSE system looks nice as well, but the Fass is good bit cheaper. Thoughts?

    I was looking at that as well, James. Just picked up a 19 and would like to stay compliant emissions wise. Would like to see how they work before getting one. Anything 08 and newer needs to get hot and stay hot.

    Good deal. Excess idle time is the achilles heel for ALL new diesel powered equipment, semis, pickups, and so on. Cat, Cummins, ford, GM, doesnt matter. None can handle excessive idling.

    Refresh of my LMM.

    Looks great. It’s rare anymore to see a GMT900 without some form of rust around the wheel arches, rockers, etc. Sucks because they are good looking trucks. Wish GM hadn’t gone el cheapo on them.

    Power steering pump issue

    IMO, I’d just replace the pump. The shaft is most likely out just enough that the new pulley will end up doing the same thing.
