I agree, it was a good race. But that ZO6 started in third gear and drove the whole track that way

true, my buddy at work has a 11.3 sec 1/4, p pumped, twinned 24v, and another at work has a c6 zo6 with upgraded cam, heads, tuned and the dodge will get him off the line but that is it. when that vet gets to the 1/8 it takes off, with a 10.1 trap

Yes the zo6 is a fast car I know this. That day the lights turned green at the same time and we had the same distance to travel. Just happened to beat him both times...

I raced a ss camaro at the track with sum bolt ons and i ran 13.41 @99 and he ran 13.47 @104. Lol he was like a quarter length behind at the finish and he not only left his slip but left the track completely.lol

That time was hobbs motorsports park in hobbs nm. Its s sorry track but its local. 30 minutes from my house

Small world I work out of Hobbs and have been to that crappy track, I have yet to run my truck down it though.

Yea I hear you, the surface looks ok but the facilities looks pretty dated, that being said I had a pretty good time for what it's worth, I'm not really a drag racing guy I personally run dirt late models but Motor sports of any kind are just good entertainment.
