The continental elite belt I had was a gator back and was constantly jumping ribs regardless of how good the alignment was I fought it for month and it shredded itself apart, wonder if the quality went down...

Yep I found this out a while back while searching for a gator back I picked up a continental elite which is the same exact belt very great quality haven't looked back since
I swapped over initially because there was a squeak I couldn't get rid of the gator back solved it

I read about issues with them when I was having issues with my dual fueler squeaking and was going to switch to a gator back to see if it would solve it but avoided getting one because of this.
