Who Drew What?

Just curious what you guys drew and what you plan on doing or what you did! Cheers!

I drew Cow Elk in the Sawtooth Mountains here in Southern Idaho. I plan on dumping her with 150G through my .270
I plan on staying there for a few days before opening day in my love shack. I don't road hunt but I'm still bringing an RZR and my Grizzly to help on pack out. There are bears and wolves here and the longer that meat sits out there the better you chances of being skat become!
Probably won't hit the open deer hunt this year, between my job and my side business it was kind of a juggle to make time for my actual draw.

I got 2 tags...1 cow calf, 1 any elk and then it turns into cow calf the 15 of nov...taking them with a 180 accusing in my 300wsm. Going for 3 days initially and then we will have to see what work allows

I tried getting a little more time off work and they literally said "you're going to need a better excuse than a draw"

My dad is going to New Mexico for bull elk :thumb:
He's been doing twice as much p90x to get prepared lol
Last year he was out hiking the guys that were half his age

Just got back from elk hunting in unit 17 Idaho. Bitterroot selway wilderness. Diy on foot. Had the best week we could have asked for without killing. Had 3 bull tags. I ended up missing a big one and hitting another due to poor shot opportunities. The one I hit is fine. We were on 7 different bulls that we either saw or heard.

With the way the weather keeps changing here it's getting tricky. Last November on my Elk hunt it was 60+ at high noon and rainy. They were high and bedded down last year. I'm hoping it starts getting really cold really soon

That went south fast

Hoping to make a trip out there eventually for some elk.

Around here we don't have a draw system thankfully so I can tag out with 3 white tails including 1 antlered

Yep no draw here neither, but I just can't get into hunting here when it's 70*+ outside. I loved hunting up north frezzing my balls off. Which also make me a little jealous of clrussell's drawing...lol
