So I just installed the Snow Performance mpg max kit on my 06 lbz daily driver. The truck is stock besides tuning and exhaust.. When we first started the truck with the kit on it would blow white smoke when the water meth was injecting and the motor would kind of hesitate.. then shut the truck off and later started it amd drove for 30 miles and no problems wheninjection occured.. then all of a sudden truck starts making bad motor knocks wiyh some loss of power and it blows a fair amount of white smoke.. now everytime the water meth starts injecting it white smokes and motor makes the bad noises already described.. it acts perfectly fine when no injection is occuring.. Any ideas?

Maybe your start point is set too low? I know on my old Vw Jetta if I had it start spraying at to low of boost it would start to misfire a little when building boost, not atomizing properly when the spray comes to early. Just my thoughts. Can you start spraying alittle higher and see what happens?

I set it up to 7 from 4 and it still does it.. what i dont understand is that it acted fine for a while on low boost setting.

Just make sure your solenoid(s) are working correctly so you don't get any w/m syphoning into your manifold or intercooler. I needed a new solenoid because mine would open under boost and then never close causing raw w/m mixture into my motor and over a couple days it got so bad it flooded my motor and fouled out the plugs, luckily I caught it in time realizing i was going through much more meth than I should have been. Lol.

I had a similar problem when i first installed my snow system, my problem was using too big of a jet and would skip and cause white smoke. The reason for that is spraying too much and was quenched and wouldn't atomized ,turning the control up and changing jets fixed my problem

Some things that pop into mind.

You mention MPG-MAX, are you sure you have the right solenoid going to the right nozzle?
Are you sure the wiring is correct?

Try this, if you haven't already. Turn all of the settings so that the kit won't inject at all. If you aren't getting any stumbling, then it isn't a big leak.

Then play with the MPG setting until the stumbling stops.

methanol drill site

hey guys looking for the correct install site for methanol injectors on my 2007.5 lmm. should I drill and install in the after the heater grid? theres a nice spot. kit says to install before some circulation for the dpf to avoid injection while cycling..... any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Go in after the heater grid.
On my LBZ there was a good flat spot to drill and tap after the grid. I think the LMM is similar.
