I've been looking at turbo upgrades and have been leaning toward the Garrett 4094 VVT and came accross the Baby Cheetah. What are the differences?

I'm looking for a reliable 550hp and lower egt's when towing my 5th wheel.

550 hp.. leave your turbo alone... modded cp3.. bigger sticks.. dustin has some stock turbo llys making way over 550 h.p.

I think the main thing is the guy asking the question wants lower egt's, not just 500 hp.

A new turbo flowing more air will do this. I was looking into the 4094avnt as well, but with my 35's, I don't think I am going that way.

I was looking at twins but the cost is keeping me from them also I'm concerned about getting carried away and hurting the motor.

I'm having rail pressure issues so bigger injectors probably wouldn't help that.

I'm wanting lower EGT's while towing and was hoping the bigger turbo would clean up the smoke sooner.

I was curious about the differences between the Baby Cheetah and the 4094vvt.

I'm looking for a direct swap without a bunch of extra mods.

I have guys that have dropped egt's up to 250* while towing. I don't tow much anymore so can't say where mine currently run.

i dont think you will be happy with a 4094vnt for towing they are laggy s.o.b's compared to a modded stock vgt from fleece or danville IMHO.

Back in the day, I had the first gen MPI twins and 40 over injectors, with a stock CP3. Made an easy 550+hp and would never go over 1000 degrees towing anything i could hook to....
