Well twisted the stock steel driveshaft lastnight, going to get a stock one to get by until a local guy gets done building me one, but what u-joints should I go with on the built shaft? 1480 or go back 1410? Where can I get the bigger yokes? Or should I leave the weak link in there to break a u-joint instead of something else? Just looking for advice from all the other pullers on here, so far truck is just stock/workstock class.

1480 joints are definitely the way to go. DHD has yokes. You can get them from GM. Greensburg driveline is another excellent source.

Price a yoke through the dealer, last time I did it was fairly cheap and it came with both the wear sleeve and the housing seal.

Small hijack - I read that I can use 1480's in my LMM but I need thinner circlips. Does anyone have part numbers or something for the clips? Thanks!
