Hey everyone, I just recently bought a 2005 GMC 2500HD Duramax and I'm getting Codes P0700 P0872 and p2810. When I start the truck cold it will shift fine but when the it comes up to running temp the truck will go into high gear. Any ideas on what my problem is? Thanks for any help!

As far as I know it is a stock trans, 272k on it, once its warmed up it goes into what I think is 4th gear and will not go into any other gear, like it's in a limp mode, when it's cold it shifts fine. I dont know the history of the truck because I just got it.
P0872 Pressure Switch "E" Circuit Low / Stuck Closed
This test compares the change of state of the valve command to the change of state of the E pressure switch feedback. (part of the S3 valve timeout test)
Primary malfunction detection
S3 valve commanded from stroked to destroked and the E pressure switch does not indicate destroked for > 2 seconds at transmission fluid temperature >= 0 deg. C (Time increases as temperature decreases with maximum time of 4 seconds at transmission fluid temperature >= -40 deg. C.)
Secondary monitoring parameters and conditions
S3 valve changes from stroked to destroked
Monitoring time length and frequency of check
2 seconds

This test detects G solenoid electrical circuit malfunctions
Primary malfunction detection
Hardware detected failure for > 1.5 seconds
Secondary monitoring parameters and conditions
No G solenoid electrical DTC (P2810)
Components powered and 9V < ignition voltage < 18V
Initialization in process OR 200 RPM < engine speed < 7500 RPM for 5 seconds
