Tierod Sleeves w/ Moog

Hi, I'm wondering if the SD tierod sleeves will work with Moog tierods and tierod ends?

I'm looking to replace my front end parts and found a deal on the Moog parts but don't want to get them if the tierod sleeves I have won't work with 'em.

I'm pretty sure that SD sleeves will work. They actually fit the stock tie rods a little loose so that they'll fit the Moog's. Crank it up's sleeves will not fit Moog tie rods though.

Yes Mitch. As far as Crank It Up, they imitate but arn't able to duplicate.

i had to ditch my Crank it up sleeves due to my moog tie rods. I believe IIRC they are 14.5mm and the stockers are around 13mm

Not to hit a nerve but I'm pretty sure he has the tooling to go bigger and will make them that way upon request. He makes them to fit around the stock tie rod tightly so there is no room for it to even bend slightly. If you let him know you have Moog's he'll make them to fit the Moogs.

I don't have either, SD or CIU. :angel: Mine are some hilljack rendition of sleeves... they are just tubes, no threading on BUT they do fit snug to the OE rods so they aren't gonna work.

That's what I was really looking for, whether or not the Moog rods were larger in diam. This was just my backdoor way of getting the info. Figured I'd get a quicker answer this way. :angel:
