Have you guys seen them or even heard of them.... well I got my first set this week!! They look awesome. Can’t wait to start building engines with them. This first set is for the Chevelle but got some customers lined up for them as well.

Take a look.... super badass.

Looking good! I'm curious to see what SoCal says they will handle. I'm betting they are meant to be a direct competitor to Wagler's budget rods.

That’s what they’ve told me so far, 800-1000hp and pricing similar to the Wagler street rod. Pretty sure they come in at 1780$ plus shipping.

Not bad at all! Once my LB7 tow pig needs a rebuild that's my plan. Budget rods, 3388af, mahle cast, etc just to make it so I "theoretically" don't have to touch it again. Report back how these bad boys hold up!

I have a set of their prototype rods in my shop truck. They've been holding up well to a little over 900 hp very well. I have been waiting for their official release; I guess they are available now.

Yep, they’re official.

Do they look any different then the proto’s??

They actually sent me two sets. One was an H-beam style rod like the Carrillo rods, and the other was a set of I-beam rods like your picture. I only ever got to install the Carrillo style, but I was told their testing showed both rods to be equal in overall strength.

Nice. I’m just glad they have their own rod and we have more options. The products they make are top shelf in my book.

I agree. Both sets I got looked to be very good quality like I would expect to come from SoCal.
