Sierra taillights

I converted my 2008 Sierra dually to a single rear and noticed the taillights from the dually bed are too small to fit the fleet side bed. What confuses me is the same taillights came off my 2008 Silverado that was a SRW. So my question are Sierra taillights bigger than Silverados? The new bed is off an 2009 if that makes a difference.

GMC and Chevy tail lights are different, but dually beds (regardless of make) all use the same tail lights.

Thanks, did some research. Chevy taillights will bolt to either dually bed but GMC taillights are ~1” bigger. Ordered a new pair of talights and making the old pair work as temps, they look stupid but at least I can drive it
