Service Trailer Break System on the DIC

I have a read a ton of posts about this problem on here and other sites.. Electrical stuff baffles me for some reason, So I'm basically looking for a much respected mechanic , or Service Dealer ( if need be)..... Also prior to the STBS on the dic I was/am having an issue with the cruise control not wanting to engage or it engages and within seconds disengages....just want it fixed got a dunes trip coming up and don't wanna have trailer towing issues. SO if ya know a good mechanic or even a good dealer that wont rape me too much please let me know ...

Sounds like the brake light switch. I had pretty mugh the same issue and a new switch took care of my problem. Just remember to install the new right side up, didn't work upside down.

I had that message one time and had a broke wire going to one of the wheel sensors.. Get some shop to hook up a scan tool and should be able to figure something out..
