I have the crappy p1261 I have the top cover off checked so weird and everything seems OK I have 2 new injector harnesses when I took off the harness for number 7 injector I noticed the solenoid spun and I'm not sure if that is OK I tested the resistance across every injector and they are all .3 I'm not sure if my ficm is bad or something but everything seems ok

Pease help

have you inspected 1, 4, 6 &7?

injector solenoid should not spin

that code should be accompanied by another code for one or more injectors. is that one only code you have?

Yes it came with the codes 0201,0204,0206 and 0207 not the first time this has happened but the last couple of times this has happened the problem just seemed to go away

have you ohmed out all those injectors? ohm to ground? how about the harness? best way is to pull the connector off the FICM and prob the resistance for each injector there.

I have only ohmed post to post I used to have the whole procedure but I can't seem to find it anywhere. The solenoid will only spin while breaking loose the nuts on the post or tightening it's not like hand loose or anything

if you are confident in the injectors and harness then the only thing left is the FCIM

Technically if the injectors and harness are good I have the wires between the ficm and the harness and the ficm correct does anyone have such pins go to where to test that as well?

Thank you again everyone

Where the wires connect to the EDU or ECM it shows the pin and plug connector. J1-3 etc

the connector should have numbers or at least indicate which pin is the #1 pin. you want to test for resistance on the ground pin through the injector and back to the supply pin. ideally you want the wires as low as possible but around 1 ohm is normal. add that to the 0.5 ohms for the injector and you would get a best case 1.5 ohms. but it may be a few ohms higher. what you are looking for is one that seems off compared to the others. check each pin to engine ground to make sure there is no shorts as there has been a few cases of the harness rubbing through in places and shorting out against a metal bracket or the alternator
