Just a get together on my wife's side, had some games and a hayride with candy stops. We were a star wars family, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Kilo Wren (my son always rooting for the bad guys). Ewok costume for the baby.
my boy was allowed to wear his costume to school today. hes dressed as Sonic the hedgehog. he was all kinds of amped to go to school today and hes typically not one for that . gave me a good chuckle this morning

No Halloween parties for me. My boy been having a pretty rough week and its hard to make outings work.
My daughter had one with my wife and their home school group last week. She took 2nd place dressed up as Dorothy from wizard of oz.

Can anyone check his math? Been a long time since I've done algebra. I got lost..
I never really got the hang of algebra so I tried some online calculators and I could not understand the answer. looked like gibberish to me

and yet, the most ive used of it is a combo of geometry and algebra when i was building longer trailing arms for my sand car. i had to make sure i had the inner pivot set perfectly at 14* so i didnt mess up the bushing through its travel. after using a square, to get my 90* for the other pivot and what i needed for new lengths, it was a matter of the whole sin/cosin/tan to find my angle and make sure it was right.
i had to do the same when i was figuring out the max allowable steering angle for these hybrid birfiled/outer cv joints i built for the tracker as well.

Calculus is what finally got me in school. Numbers I'm really good with (should've been a CPA) but i can't do theoretical math.

Good haul last night.
We use to use pillow cases as our bags. A good night was when we had to back to the house to empty the bag out. Our little girl almost matched us. She did got a lot of Peanut Butter cups. Those are m u favorite, so I going to have to inspect them. I do got to say though damn candy bar keep getting smaller and smaller.
