went to change the oil in my dmax and the tech at the shop advised me that i only had 1/2 a quart of oil in the transfer case. Last time i took it in for an oil change was about 5,000 miles ago and it was good, how long would it take to kill the t case if i ran it with with only that much oil? i use my truck just about every day and i dont know when it started to leak, i've never seen any oil underneath the truck.
thanks

If you havnt destoyed the hard parts your OK it is a expensive rebuild!

Phone Mike L and get his fix and then refill the T case with oil

if you have aq hole i would JB weld it or purchase a new case side

Phone Mike he can help u out;)

Wait a sec. Is this info for the LMM that I see in your avatar? If so, I don't think the pump rub is a problem on these models. I could be wrong though.

What is the pump rub? I've ever heard of that problem. Im taking it to the dealer in the morn just hoping that they don't give me any grief for the lift and wheels and tires.
