Well I guess it’s been a while with out a boat, but long story short, hurricane Sally totaled our old fishing boat 2 years ago. Trying to secure a boat became quite difficult with covid and all this BS, but we finally found one in stock and how we liked it. Picked up a 38’ Fountain TE with triple 400 mercs. She’s fast and fishes hard, topped her out at 79.8mph today with 5 dudes and 300gal of fuel on board.

Nice! That looks like my buddy Ed's boat. Did you buy it from Marker 17?
I bought it from Grander marine in Orange Beach AL. It was the only new 38TE for sale in the southeast. Literally lucked out on it. The person that ordered it couldn’t get financing and we were next in line.

Cool, you lucked out, it's a bad ass ride for sure! I've got a video of me in a 46 see hunter cat trying to catch my buddy Ed offshore and it wasn't going happen. The Seahunter is sporting quad 425's and the Fountian just kept pulling away on us. Lol. Now 2 of my friends have boats on order. That 38 is going to be a popular model.

This boat feels like it’s on ball bearings lol. Never been in one that’s so “loose” in the water. Just effortlessly glides, esp with like a 1 foot chop. I think it’ll go 81mph with 93 octane and the right water surface conditions.

Just wait....you aint seen nothin' yet. We've got a wedding later this year!

Are those engines 4 cyl or 8? Sorry, I know nothing about boats.
😳. I can’t handle that, still can’t accept that my kids are out of the baby stage. God do I miss having toddlers too.

These engines are supercharged inline 6s. These are the M version too, so more pedestrian than the R models. Also more warranty too though haha.

Thats bad ass Wade!!! all i can imagine is those boats are like the long travel version of a sand car or prerunner in the dirt but on water.
