Thanks ... many late nights in my garage over the last two years installing aftermarket accessories ... but it’ s been worth it ... drives and tows really well now ... plus it now sits at the same height next to an F350 ... never liked being looked down upon by a Ford 😉.

Thanks for the welcome response.

Technical question since your signature says transmission service ...

Our trucks state 60 psi front & 80 psi rear regarding tire pressures on the door sticker.

With less pressure in the front tires, and the heavier engine over the front tires, the front tires compress more than the rear.

This compression makes the front tires rolling circumference less than the rear tires.

In 4WD ... how does a part time 4WD transfer case deal with the front axle turning at a slightly faster speed than the rear ?

If the transfer case requires the front and rear axles to turn at the same speed, would it not make sense to run a lower tire pressure in the rear tires when unloaded since it is lighter than the front tire load ... to make the rear tires compress / sag the same as the front tires ?

Or is there enough give in the linkage to adapt for this small amount of axle speed difference between the front and rear tires ?
