Hi guys my names Ryan. I’m new to this forum I have a 2007 duramax classic. LBZ. About 250k miles now. Had her about 8 months and was just getting caught up on Maintinance and starting some mods and boom went my transmission the other day . She is going in this month to get rebuilt. I am an auto mechanic myself so I do 90% of my wrenching myself. Hello and welcome me and my broken transmission in haha.

By the way I learned how big of a deal it is to drive around with a bad Driveshaft U-joint. All the vibration goes directly into the tail end of the transmission and the tail case didn’t like that too much. Lol.

Welcome. Sorry to hear about your issues. We've had a few people let there bad u-joints go too long and end up as you have. Sucks but a learning experience

Yea like you said it’s just a learning experience and also a good time to upgrade that Allison 1000 anyways it was already on the list of stuff I wanted to do so I’m not gonna let it get to me.
