For all you guys that like the CNC equipment as much as I do, here is a NTX2000 2nd gen 5axis lathe. Two turning spindles, a lower XZC TURRET, and a 5axis upper milling head. This will be the 5th one we’ve bought, 2nd in just a year. These machines perform. If y’all can’t tell, I drool over these things. Just a good ole DMGMORI nut swinger 😂.

Do you know what plant that one came out of?

IGA campus Japan, took 8 months to build. All NTX machines are made in Japan to my knowledge. I know the Dmu dmg mono block stuff is made in Pfronten Germany, and possibly the ctx lathes.

DMG is a nice brand for sure! got a couple Monoblocks (65 & 85) at the shop I'm at and a few more mill turns types at the other building. Up in Ontario Canada here!

Are those monoblocks Siemens controller or Heidenhain? We’ve been thinking about buying a DMU65, can’t decide which controller to go with though.

Man id love to work at a place where they actually bought us new equipment or even tooling. I enjoy seeing the stuff you post Wolf. I've been running the same ragged out Hobbs for way to long

All of our old equipment finally crapped out for good.
