Wish this was an engine build thread, but this is my 2nd favorite toy.

Stripped machined billet lower made by Quentin Defense and a Vltor Mur-1s.
I opted to go with no forward feed.

I didn't think to get a picture of the right side of the upper, so here's the manufacturers picture.

very nice Sig. Does sig have it coated or did you? and I don't think it's gay as long as there's no eye contact during  lol.

:roflmao:

Thanks, Sig makes very fine firearms, props to them, I like buying their product:)
This model; the Sig Scorpion 1911 4.5". It came with the desert coating. It's supposed to be one of those "self lubricating" anti friction coatings that covers every mm of the frame and slide. I keep it cleaned and lightly oiled anyways as I see no reason to test the coatings boundaries for personal use/pro. I've fired about 1000 rounds through it (maybe 350-400 in one day) and it hasn't missed a beat, even when the clip is loaded with various rounds of different loads and slugs. I can accomplish a 2.25" pattern with a 3-5 shot succession at 21' with ease and at 20 yards still hit center mass with out fail. It's a fine firearm.

Someday I'd like to get more into rifles, but I've already got a "hobby" I can't afford. As it is, me and my family and home are well protected, rather, we have the tools and knowledge needed to be protected, so I'm in no immediate need to acquire more. Damn it I do want to tho...;)
