I have a 2008 Silverado 2500hd. Two days ago it went in to limp mode as I pulled in to the grocery store. I thought it was the tcm acting up in the past it did this when it got hot only happened twice and haven't had any problems lately. So when I came out of the store I reset the codes and started to back out when I put the truck in to drive it continued to back up even in neutral it would back up. Have no forward gears at all it did leak a little fluid from between the transmission and transfer case. I've dropped the pan and didn't find a whole lot of metal just a bunch of real fine flakes. The fluid did look burnt. What should i do next .
