LB7: NEED HELP Started then died

I tried starting my truck and it didnt go the first crank so i tried again it started for 5 seconds then died, i found fuel leaking out the bottom the fuel filter and found the bottom piece on the filter had popped off i tightened it up again primed it and tried to start it again would crank but no ignition
If you could help me out it would be appreciated
its about -15 C here if that helps

When you get air into the system and you don't have a lift pump, it takes a LOT of cranking to get it to start.

If there is any air leak in the filter assy, it can cause a non-start. The factory lift pump is in the back of the CP3, which is higher than the filter or tank. Make sure the bottom gasket is in if the white piece came out.

To be safe I'd change out that fuel filter. The O-ring could be F'd on the water in fuel sensor. Then prime the hell outta of it using the primer on the filter housing - and I mean a good 5 min of pumping at least!
