Looking for a good shop

My dad is working in southeast Georgia (Baxley), within an hour or two. He is looking for a good shop to rebuild his transmission (04.5 sierra). Anyone on here that can recommend any good shop(s) in the area without having to drive a day?

I'm sure ya'll have thought about just ordering one from Evan or Mike even and having it shipped to you and then just swapping it out?

That's what I'll do if me and my brother decide not to build mine ourselves..

As Kiwilml said, I would recommend just ordering a built trans in a crate from Evan or Mike L and have a reputable shop install it along with some good Dex 3.

That's what I'm wanting to do, just looking for someone good to do the work since he's not anywhere I know any good shops! Anyone know a good shop to do a drop and swap in that area?
