I am in Australia, I have a 2009 LMM in a Toyota land cruiser truck, it has been running well, but suddenly today when it was idling it suddenly stopped.
I have an EFI live scan tool, i am not very familiar with this tool, but from what i can see it appears as if the Engine Control Module is not visible to the scan tool, it picks up the transmission module, but not the engine unit.
The ECU has been modified with 5 tunes
Do these ECU’s have history of complete failure?. should i still be able to see the unit if it failed.
I don’t have any blown fuses, possibly may have a broken wire supplying power to the unit. Any suggestions
