Lly swap

Just did a motor swap from a lly to a lb7.... everything is in and cranking strong but no fuel coming to the engine. I have fuel all the way up to the filter its primed and bleed but fuel lines going into the engine are dry. Any ideas?

What year is the truck this is in? You went from an lly to an lb7?

Truck is a 2005 motor is a 2004

Are you getting fuel out of the test port next to the alternator?

No its dry the only place getting fuel is my filter when primed

If you have fuel coming out of there truck should start if vats is happy

What is vats?

"vehicle anti theft system" its gm security system. When you swap ecms or split the ecm from the bcm the bcm either needs to be disabled or a vats relearn needs to be done depending on what your doing.

How would I go along with the relearn?

You either need a tech 2 or need to find Kats write up on the other procedure.

You using the LB7 ECM/FICM and all LB7 electronics?

Yeah everything is being used from the lb7

I went about with the vats relearn and the security light that should be on for the 10 minute intervals is only on for a few seconds and shuts off

Does the truck start then die? or does it not start at all?
