So I’ll start from the beginning I recently took everything apart and powder coated everything I could. When I did that I replaced the alternator and I have a PPE duel cp3 pump. I didn’t notice the hardline for the duel fueler was touching the hot on the back of the alternator. Slightly different alternator. When I tried connecting a battery in sparks flew I looked for what was causing it and that was it. Anyway I start the truck now and I had a fuel leak but fixed that. Now the truck is throwing a P0089 cel my cts says that’s the fuel pressure regulator 1 Performace. But I replaced the fpr when I did everything so I don’t think that could be it. I’m thinking I may have fried something when trying connecting the battery in the duel cp3 pump module or something in the ecm. Does anyone know a way to test the duel cp3 module or something in the ecm that sends a signal or receives it from the fpr? Truck is a 2004.5 LLY
