Ok thanks. I wired up the alternator. This has the dtc for the alternator handle for now. A little disappointed that that I had to do it this way but it will work for now.
I called Paul from duramaxtuner.com and told him my concerns about loading his tunes on top of the already modified ecm from bt dieselworks. He had me read and save the base tune from the ecm then email it to him. Then he emailed me a dsp5 tune file back that I could load straight onto the ecm. The new tunes, once loaded, took care of the intake air grid heater code. Thumbs up to duramaxtuner. They listen to my issues and fixed me right up. All within about an hour.
The issue I can't seem get any traction on is the reverse lights failing to come on when I put the truck into reverse. If anybody has any ideas please let me know
