OK so DSP4, 3 ,2 are all too hot for a stock trans, DSP1 might be ok and the Base tune is about it as far as tuning a stock transmission

If you guys don't know enough to tell which tune is hotter maybe you shouldn't be pulling tunes off the internet to slap on your truck. Just saying your asking for trouble. Back in the day tuning 101 look over every tune. Even your own scripts because of bugs in the software that could alter tables.

It's more for reference. I could see which ones are more hot than others, but I like to know what they had in mind when creating the tune.

HAHA well yeah so the dyno was off for this one then or it had been limped before cause it limped this one. no shift kit and 35's

35s make a little bit of a difference. I played some with 500 and DD/beat on mine with 450ish no towing before I smoked it doing rolling burnouts. The clutches looked good, but installed a transgo the day I started tuning it.

Id like to think my truck is handy to 500 at the wheels. I Have about 20 0-80 mph 4wd drive launch runs on it with no limp yet.

McRats Wendy tune in my lbz was a blast i only limped 2 times but she was having issues on the dyno or somthing, tq was awesome hp not so much.

I would say 500 to the wheels is where i was at and i towed like that just had to watch egt and keep my foot out of it. Everything is stock trans safe until it isnt:woott:
