Holy yeast head!

I had one do that a few years ago. It go so bad that it clogged the vapor lock and built up enough pressure to plow the butt plug (yeah, I said butt plug) across the room..!..

Got two new batches going. This one is a black beer. Did it the same as last time, same wort, different yeasts.


BTW, the last batch turned out great. The Wit was good right after the carbonation phase, but the Saison need to age a bit. With a couple months spent in the bottle settling it is better than the Wit IMO..

Have you ever considered skipping the bottles and start using 5 gallon pop kegs? Thats what we do and is much nicer, besides it is nice to have homebrew on tap in the kegarator.

Plus each batch comes out to about 15 gallons for us so only hvae to do 3 kegs.
